For a pleasant ride with us, you need to dress for the weather.
Remember never to use the same clothing or equipment in different stables without washing in between! This is a simple way to avoid the risk of spreading e.g. strangles or other infectious diseases!
Riding helmets are available to borrow.
Please wear non-sensitive clothing when visiting us. Long trousers are recommended for a more comfortable ride.
On your feet, it's good to have a durable shoes/boots. Trainers are also good during dry weather.
On the upper body, it's best to wear something long-sleeved to reduce the risk of insect bites and scratches from vegetation.
In cold weather, the stockpiling principle works very well.

Riding is done at a walkpace (with riding experience, trotting is also offered if desired).
If you want someone to go with you, we can arrange it. Please let us know when booking.
We have no direct age limit for spending time with the horses.
However, the saddles are adapted to adults in terms of width and stirrups. For smaller children, we can offer child stirrups that are slightly shorter. The child needs to be big enough to keep their balance on the saddle.
Parents are welcome to accompany you on foot if they wish.
Specific age limits can be set on specific activities.
We do not have a maximum age limit, you are welcome just as you are. We do not have access to a ramp or lift.
Generally speaking, a horse should not have to carry more than 20% of its own body weight, which in our case corresponds to approx. 90 kg including the equipment.
Other factors include how well you balance yourself on the horse, the pace, the duration and the type of terrain we ride. Therefore, we do not want to set an exact weight limit. If you are on the limit of what is ok, we see it as our responsibility to adjust the pace and riding time for our horses to be comfortable.
Since 2018, horse riding has been authorised for the health benefit (In Sweden).
If you want a receipt for wellness compensation, you need the name and social security number of the booking.
In case of extreme weather, we may move your booking to avoid any risk of injury to you or the horse. Rebooking can also be done in case of illness.
In case of rebooking of an activity due to weather or other reasons, please do so at least 2 hours before the scheduled time, preferably as soon as you know.
There is no rebooking fee if the booking is changed at least 2 hours before the scheduled time.
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the activity. If cancelled later than this or in case of no-show, the full cost will be charged.
The easiest way to book is via email or booking form.
Payment can be made via Swish or cash (even money, swedish crowns).
Swedish companies and organisations can be invoiced with 30 days credit.
Nothing is risk-free in this world, fortunately it is very rare for any of our guests to get injured.
However, should an accident occur, you are covered by insurance for accidents caused by the horse in connection with riding or grooming, read more about the conditions here: https://www.agria.se/hast/hastforsakring/agria-incident-en-olycksfallsforsakring-for-manniskor/. The excess is paid by the person who has been involved in the accident, and the insurance cannot be combined with other insurance policies, such as home insurance or accident insurance through work or a trade union.
